Hip-hop may be the most influential genre in popular music but its artists are not always seen as community leaders in other contexts. Brad Franklin explains his idea that the creators of hip-hop are vital representatives of the culture they reflect, which has become mainstream. Brad “Kamikaze” Franklin is a Hip Hop artist, entrepreneur, writer and activist. Kaz’s extensive career spans several mediums, including music, TV, and radio. He is one-half of the critically acclaimed hip-hop duo Crooked Lettaz with David Banner.
