Damon Brown is a 2014 TED Active speaker and the author of the TED Books title, Our Virtual Shadow: Why We Are Obsessed With Documenting Our Lives Online. Brown is a prolific pop culturist with 14 books, numerous articles for popular magazines and websites, an iPhone app called So Quotable, and appearances on CNN, NPR, C-SPAN, G4TV, BBC World, CBC and Sirius Radio to his credit. He is a consultant to several publishers and technology firms, and sits on the board of directors at the American Society of Journalists and Authors and the advisory board of Nextt.
